Mother's Day 2021 - Sunday, May 9.

Although a very special day, Mother's Day is not a statutory holiday in Canada. It is celebrated in many countries around the world but not on the same day. Most countries celebrate Mother's Day in May, the second Sunday of the month. 

Mother’s Day is a day meant to honour mothers and appreciate their role in society and their role in families. It complements similar celebrations honouring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents' Day.

The popular flowers for Mother’s Day we have found are Dutch Spring Flowers such as ranunculus, peonies, anemones, double & parrot tulips along with a variety of long stem roses. The soft and gentle colour schemes such as blush, pink and peach are the top 3 colours to be requested by daughters and sons. 

 Fleurissant has been receiving the beautiful selections of high quality spring flowers mainly from Holland since January. May is the month in which spring flowers are finishing their blooming season. 

Curbside Pickup & Local Delivery: 

For Mother’s Day 2021, we will be open for curbside pick up from our back courtyard as well as local delivery under the 3rd lockdown. Due to the stay at home order, Fleurissant is celebrating Mother’s Day 2021 from Tuesday May 4th to Sunday May 9th.  

We are more than happy to create unique & beautiful custom bouquets and arrangements for your mothers and for your home so that you can enjoy these gorgeous spring flowers.
